Piano 73 – Star Bar

My old friend and dance partner, Marcus Chalet, suggested I visit the Star Bar.

In a show of startling unoriginality I played Star Eyes (much influenced by Bud Powell’s wonderful version).

After the gig I took advantage of the well-stocked bar, where I downed a brace of tasty Martinis.
