Vespas at Zephyr Heights

I read about the Vespas on Ida Keen’s excellent blog and had to go check them out. I had been to Zephyr Heights before to buy a skateboard and a fantastic pair of Converse high tops (in four colours!) so already knew the general layout of the town.

In case you haven’t visited before, Zephyr Heights is a kind of retro, skater-punk sim with a huge skate park, cinema and shops, it’s highly recommended.

The Vespas are to the right as soon as you arrive in town, just click on the sign and one will rezz up.

My first bike was a lovely pink thing which I quickly ran into the sea, ooops.

Never mind, there are plenty more. I went back and rezzed up a green bike, hopped on and toured the town.

The Vespas are easy and fun to ride in a straight line but a bit of a nightmare to turn. Luckily Zephyr has a couple of long roads and it’s quite easy to pick up some speed (well, as much speed as a scooter will give you).

I searched in vain for some mods and rockers but none were to be found. Neither was there a piano for me to bang out some tunes in honour of those modfathers, the Who.

Hmmmm, I wouldn’t mind buying one of these bikes, they are pretty natty!
