Piano 88 – The Moonlight Club

My friend Therese took me to the Moonlight Club and quickly made herself at home on the piano top.

I played ‘Killing Moon’ by Echo and the Bunnymen.

It’s a nice little venue but could do with a) getting rid of the horrible red carpet and b) changing the radio stream from that ghastly ‘smooth-jazz’ atrocity.

Oh..and the sword? Well that’s another story…

  1. LOL! OK, I’ll take the smooth jazz stream off. What should I change it to? As hostess at the club, I aim to please. Also, I’ll see if Nick can change the carpet. Any suggestions for flooring? Stay tuned for some live music on Thursday nights starting in October.

  2. heh heh, oh, I feel all embarrassed now!

Well, there’s a good jazz stream called ‘Martini in the Morning’ or something similar, I’ll find out for you.

As for the carpet, the problem is the colour, it is so bright and threatens to overshadow the gorgeous gowns of your female customers…so, something more subtle, wood is fine, for example.

Looking forward to the live nights…Cat x

  3. Here’s a link to the stream:

  4. Be careful what you write, Caterin ā€“ someone might read it :–) But you were absolutely right. And thanks a lot for the Martini in the Morning stream. It’ll be on heavy rotation on my iTunes from now on ā€¦

  5. I just found out there is a Killing Moon Cafe in-world. Cool in itself, but maybe they have a piano as well?

  6. Hmmm, go check it out Therese and then you can request a tune for me to play šŸ™‚

  7. What to play on The Killing Moon Cafe when you’ve already played that song? Hmm, hard one ā€¦ Harvest Moon, Old Devil Moon, Blue Moon, Bad Moon Rising, Dark Side of the Moon (the whole album)? I’ll try to come up with something :–)

  8. I really love the second photograph. Woot! (And good pick of music too ;))

  9. Hi Vint, yes i love those pose balls on the piano, they make great snapshots!
